Det er et nyttig verkt\u00f8y i situasjoner hvor du selv ikke kan v\u00e6re til stede for \u00e5 bestemme, godkjenne eller signere dokumenter i forskjellige sammenhenger, det v\u00e6re seg personlige, komersielle, administrative eller juridiske dokument, osv. Mange velger derfor \u00e5 delgere myndighet. En fullmektiget vil gjennom fullmakten v\u00e6re lovlig autorisert til \u00e5 utf\u00f8re oppgaver som kan ha juridiske implikasjoner for fullmaktsgiver og opptre p\u00e5 hans\/hennes vegne. Du m\u00e5 ha i mente at advokaten noen ganger beh\u00f8ver \u00e5 forholde seg til tredjeparter, og da kan et bredere spekter av representasjon v\u00e6re n\u00f8dvendig. Det er veldig viktig at du har full forst\u00e5else for hvilke oppgaver du delegerer da det vil v\u00e6re en annen person, en du stoler p\u00e5, som vil utf\u00f8re de p\u00e5 dine vegne.
