Denna handling registreras i ett centralregister f\u00f6r testamenten (Registro Central de \u00daltimas Voluntades). F\u00f6ljaktligen s\u00e5 \u00e4r advokater till\u00e5tna att lokalisera testamentet och f\u00e5 utf\u00e4rdat en officiell kopia som utst\u00e4lls efter testatorns bortg\u00e5ng.<br \/>\nTestamente i Spanien lagras eller f\u00f6rvaras aldrig hos en advokat. Endast offentliga notarier har beh\u00f6righet att g\u00f6ra detta, de har \u00e4ven beh\u00f6righet att utf\u00e4rda certifierade eller notariserade kopior. Endast arvingar har r\u00e4tt att f\u00e5 ut detta dokument p\u00e5 beg\u00e4ran eller deras vederb\u00f6rligen utsedda juridiska ombud\/advokat genom en fullmakt. Det kan vara en bra id\u00e9 att b\u00f6rja med att bevilja en fullmakt till den advokat eller juridiska ombud som man valt att representera en inf\u00f6r notarien.<br \/>\nN\u00e4r ett testamente blivit beviljat utomlands, oftast i den avlidnes hemland, s\u00e5 m\u00e5ste specifika f\u00f6reskrifter om hur man g\u00e5r vidare f\u00f6ljas i enighet med landets regler.<br \/>\nIbland kan man ha en situation d\u00e4r inget testamente beviljats eller formaliserats, varken i Spanien eller n\u00e5gon annanstans (\u201cIntestate Succession\u201d). I s\u00e5dana fall m\u00e5ste det p\u00e5visas vem eller vilka som \u00e4r arvingar. Endast i h\u00e4ndelse av en konfliktsituation dvs. om det finns oenigheter i tolkningen av arvsrelaterade handlingar eller delningen av boet och tillg\u00e5ngarna s\u00e5 kan en advokat tvingas att v\u00e4cka talan.<br \/>\nUnder normala omst\u00e4ndigheter, trots att r\u00e4ttshj\u00e4lp inte \u00e4r n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndigt, s\u00e5 kan \u00e4nd\u00e5 processen m\u00e5nga g\u00e5nger vara komplicerad.
